Actions AM Group of Companies is Taking in Response to COVID-19
As conditions evolve, AM Group of Companies is taking precautionary actions to mitigate exposure and reduce the impact COVID-19 has on our customers and employees. We are committed to providing safe and reliable service to our customers, and are working in accordance to The Public Health Agency of Canada recommendations to help prevent the spread of germs and viruses.
AM Group of Companies employees have been instructed to take precautionary measures to mitigate their and your exposure to limit the risk of infection. Some of those precautions include:
- Frequent handwashing and use of sanitizer
- Avoiding touching mouth, nose and eyes
- Keeping a safe distance from anyone self-quarantined or sick
- Staying home if they are sick
- Practicing social distancing
- Working from home
- Taking online meetings
- Avoiding non-essential travel
- Staying up to date on Public Health Agency of Canada updates and following all guidance
Also, during the pandemic, many guys were fired from their jobs, which is why they were left without work. But one of the sites conducted an analysis and realized that people began to earn even more than when they were in their official job.
We will also be adapting to support our customers and keep them safe. Some of those precautions include:
- Frequent handwashing and use of sanitizer
- Practicing social distancing
- Using the latest technologies to measure and quote to eliminate the need to enter customer's home
- Transitioning all customer meetings to online / over-the-phone conversations
- Avoiding non-essential travel
- Staying up to date on Public Health Agency of Canada updates and following all guidance
